From Monday, 24th March 2003 I have changed the name from LunarLander to RescueLander, due several improvements to this game.
Note that now there are three sounds in the game but the graphics is still very primitive; however the game is fine and, most important thing, it is playable!
There were a bad keys handling; now the keyboard is locked!
Now you must save all the men by the lander to change landscape.
Now both the side engines decrease the fuel, hard game!
Now each man has his own movements speed.
There was a too high fuel use by the lander; now it has been corrected.
If the lander did go out of fuel while a down, left or right arrow keys were pressed, you still did hear the engine sound; it should happen no more.
Changed the texts of the game, using the Data70ColouredLets.BMP image.
Now if the lander crashes the explosion will be.
Increaed the game speed, by reducing the player's message changes to the fuel counting.
Changed (badly) the graphics for the lander's explosion; I should graphically finetune it.
The explosion sound is strangely looped although it is not stated into the source code: however I have solved the problem by a trick.
If you are a good player there are new troubles for you, discover them by yourself!
Corrected a bug into the men to save subroutine that brought a wrong message not matching the men to save status.
Corrected a bug into the landing zone array indexing that vanified the purposes of this array.
If the lander hit the landscape by side at low velocity it will be stopped its orizontal velocity.
the lander's explosion seems better than before.
added to the intro a graphic logo and repositioned the bottom engine flame.
