It is happened again unfortunately!
The pc is become unuseable and I had to reinstall all!
Sunday, day of Christmas 2005: I have reinstalled the most important programs, plus the first group of the games; inside this group that I have installed the PC shareware game HYPERBALLOID COMPLETE EDITION by ALAWAR GAMES installed from TUCOWS (http://www.tucows.com/); on my pc it is too slow.
I have tried as possible to limit the number of icons on the screen.
Monday, St. Stephen's day 2005: I have installed ACE HTML 5 FREEWARE to update this page and the italian one; I ho installed ACE FTP 3 FREEWARE also to upload my pages in my site on the Web; all these programs are of VISICOM MEDIA (http://www.visicommedia.com/); at night I have installed FINSON CD CREATOR (http://www.finson.com/) and GIMP2 for WINDOWS (http://www.gimp.org/): they have given me problems but at end everything has taken the right way.
Wednesday, 28th December 2005: seen that my new combo printer is useless, I have removed from the PC all the files related to it.
Friday, 30th December 2005: It is not visible on the screen but I have installed the audio devoted program DANCE DJ made by FINSON (http://www.finson.com/) and the virtual analog synth RHINOCEROS POLYPHONIC from TUCOWS (http://www.tucows.com/).
Saturday, 31st december 2005: I have installed the programma MOBILE PHONE TOOLS for the comunication via USB of my PC to my 3 videophone MOTOROLA A835; then I have installed WINAMP 5.1 from the dvd enclosed with the issue of this month of COMPUTER MAGAZINE.
Sunday, 1st January 2006: my major sister as given to me as Christmas present the musical program MAGIX MUSIC STUDIO 2005 DELUXE (http://www.magix.com/); today I have installed it and I have tried it a little without read the paper manual, that is already quickness and it remands the user to the more exaustive electronic manual in pdf format.
Monday, 2nd January 2006: I have installed ADOBE READER 6.0 and I have removed the version 4.0 of the same program; I have installed APPLE QUICKTIME PLAYER for WINDOWS also.
Wednesday, 4th January 2006: I have installed from the INSTALLATORI pc directory the version 9.0 of MUSICMATCH JUKEBOX.
Saturday, 7th January 2006: I have reinstalled MAGIX MUSIC STUDIO 2005 DELUXE, removing the two icons on the screen, then I have installed WINGS 3D 0.98.26 and REAL PLAYER 10 from the PC directory INSTALLATORI.
Tuesday, 10th January 2006: I have installed the virtual synthesizer ARPPE 2006 VA into the musical programs section, taken from the italian musical magazine MAKING MUSIC cd of the December issue; seen that the installation has not generated any icon, the PC screen is unchanged.
Sunday, 15th January 2006: I have installed ICQ5 from the INSTALLATORI directory.
Thursday, 19th January 2006: I have installed the beautyful OMNIA DE AGOSTINI encyclopedia to look for informations about the Essens (I hope that this word I have correctly translated in english).
Tuedsday, 24th January 2006: I have installed the most heavy part of WINDOWS updates from the MICROSOFT site for the pc.
Wednesday, 25th January 2006: I have installed the MP3 PRO encoder, THOMSON MP3 PRO PLAYER ENCODER from my INSTALLATORI directory; you can found it on the Internet to the site http://www.mp3prozone.com/.
Saturday, 28th january 2006: I have finally installed my favorite game, BANG! GUNSHIP ELITE by RED STORM ENTERTAINMENT; I have just played the game and I was almost succeeded to overcame the initial level, but the enemy spaceships have destroyed mine; yes, you have understood right, it is a 3D space fighting game.
Friday, 17th February 2006: I am gone with my father to the local EPSON repair center and I have purchased a combo printer named EPSON STYLUS DX4800 and I have left there the remains of my previous combo printer named EPSON STYLUS CX3650; you can see the proggies supplied with the combo printer present on the screen; I have spent 132 Euros for the combo printer.
Tuesday, 21st February 2006: I have finally downloaded from the web the JAVA2 developer package of the SUN MICROSYSTEMS from the site http://www.java.sun.com/, precisely the version 1.4.2 BUILD 10; I have downloaded tne freeware JAVA sources editor named JCREATOR from the omonime site; I have downloaded also the SUN DOWNLOAD MANAGER for future uses.
Monday, 3rd April 2006: I have downloaded from TUCOWS the original version of SUDOKU, to make happy my father!
Friday, 7th April 2006: I have installed from the June 2005 COMPUTER MAGAZINE cover cd the game for pc named MAX PAYNE; I have tried by myself to customize the pc screen backdrop also.
Thursday, 20th April 2006: I have (re)installed the accessory programs of my one Gig usb mp3 player signed MP6515 by UNITED (http://www.united.is/); so a new icon is appeared on the screen; I have also graphically improved the backdrop image made by me using GIMP for WINDOWS.
Friday, 28th April 2006: I have downloaded for free from the MAGIX site the program MUSIC MANAGER 2006; I have updated my pc WINDOWS version by WINDOWS UPDATE and it is appeared the WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER icon on the pc screen.
Monday, 1st May 2006: I have removed the program I have installed thought needed by my mp3 player because it was usable for a limited time.
Tuesday, 30th May 2006: A banner has appeared on the PC screen informing me that a new version of ICQ5 was available for my computer, so I have clicked on the banner and then I have successfully installed ICQ 5.1!
Saturday, 3rd June 2006: Mum and major sister, returned from weekly shopping, have brought to me this month issue of QUALE COMPUTER, an italian pc magazine sold with a dvd; I have found on it and installed from it the tiny pc game HEAD OVER HEELS; you can see its quick launch icon on the PC screen; after, on the magazine dvd I have found DSPEECH 1.4 and I have installed it; to see this program in action I have downloaded from the MICROSOFT site the SPEECH SDK 5.1; now the PC speaks to me and recognizes my words I say to it via a microphone!
Sunday, 11th June 2006: I have installed the PC game LBREAKOUT2 from the dvd of the QUALE COMPUTER magazine of this month.
Monday, 12th June 2006: I have installed the TALKING TIME KEEPER that utilizes the MICROSOFT SPEECH ENVIRONMENT.
Saturday, 17th June 2006: ICQ5.1 did sign me that there was one of its file corrupted so I have installed the italian version of ICQ; I have removed PLAYNOW and TALKING TIME KEEPER to reduce the icons on the screen and to speed up the PC booting process.
Tuesday, 20th June 2006: I have installed VOICE EMAIL for (funny) future uses.
Tuesday, 27th June 2006: I have updated MAGIX MUSIC STUDIO; the installer has informed me that now I have a new virtual instrument in addition; unfortunately I do not know how to use them yet!

The PC has got the viruses and I had to reinstall everything!
Saturday, 9th September 2006: there are just all the most important programs, the favorites of mine and several new that substitute the other not XP compatible; the best thing is that my WINDOWS XP version is updated to its maximum possible from MICROSOFT, that is up to SERVICE PACK 2; the most part of the new programs comes from the italian magazine PC OPEN cover dvd of this month; the last icon on the screen is just a web editor that I have used to modify this page.
Sunday, 10th September 2006: I have found on the italian magazine PC OPEN cover dvd of this month an interesting graphics program that, what a surprise, reads AMIGA images also; is name is XnView.
Tuesday, 12th September 2006: I have installed from the site http://www.amigaforever.com/ the program DOWNLOAD MANAGER by CLOANTO; I have installed then the program AMIGA EXPLORER from my AMIGA FOREVER 3.0 CD, by CLOANTO again, and at end I have launched the program DOWNLOAD MANAGER wishing that it did update my version of AMIGA EXPLORER, but it was not so; then I have gone on the site http://google.earth.com/ and I have downloaded GOOGLE EARTH for XP to take a look from the Earth by satellite!
Thursday, 14th September 2006: I have updated MUSICMATCH JUKEBOX from version 8.1 to the version 9.0; I have installed THOMSON MP3 PRO PLAYER & ENCODER also from one of my safety copy cd.
Sunday, 17th September 2006:I have installed JAVA2 RUNTIME 5.0 of SUN MICROSYSTEMS to fully use OPEN OFFICE 2.0 that I have found on this month issue italian magazine PC OPEN enclosed dvd.
Monday, 18th September 2006: I have installed ADVANCED WINDOWS CARE from the QUALE COMPUTER italian mag June 2006 enclosed DVD to speed up the PC; I have noticed no great change; the sad note is that the first 20 Gigs PC hard disk is almost full, so I will not install more programs on it!
Friday, 29th September 2006: I have installed the program CLEAN CACHE 3.0 from this month issue of the italian magazine PC OPEN enclosed dvd to remove all the footprints leaved on the pc due web surfing.
Saturday, 30th September 2006: I have removed CLEAN CACHE 3.0 because it requires a WINDOWS XP extension that I do not need and also the game SUPREME SNOWBOARDING from INFOGRAMES for WINDOWS XP incompatibility; I have instead successfully installed the games THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD 2 from SEGA and RUNE from HUMAN HEAD STUDIOS.
Wednesday, 4th October 2006: I have created on the AMIGA 1200 the miniature of my big face for my AMIGA sequencer AMYSEQUENCER and I have converted it also for my videophone MOTOROLA A835 which I have installed on the pc its management program; I would like to know how java applications (games!) can be copied on the videophone, it is the last thing I have not understood.
Friday, 6th October 2006: I have installed the graphics program PHOTO EXPRESS 3.0 SPECIAL EDITION from ULEAD SYSTEMS to print business cards, the game MONSTER JAM MAXIMUM DESTRUCTION from UBISOFT and I have registered both via Web; the game that I have installed is the unique I have that fully support my gamepad named PXP417 from LOGIC3.
Saturday, 7th October 2006: Mum and major sister returned from the weekly shopping have brought to me as my request a magazine for pc with a cd, that is IL MIO COMPUTER of November; on the cd I have found and installed a free game, is named ICY TOWER 1.2 from FREE LUNCH DESIGN, you can see its icon on the screen.
Sunday, 8th October 2006: I have installed from the IL MIO COMPUTER November issue cd a free game, is named FROG HUNT from FREE LUNCH DESIGN, you can see its icon on the screen; I have installed the ICQ5 english version also.
Friday, 13th October 2006: I have removed NVU and installed SEAMONKEY to see if I succeed more to modify my site page but unfortunately both the programs customize by their way the pages structure; however the pc screen has changed.
Saturday, 14th October 2006: I have removed from the WINDOWS XP automatic start all the not early use programs; I have found and installed VULCAN UPLOADER 3.0 also, Viva!

Saturday, 21st October 2006: I have reregistered my copy of MONSTER JAM: MAXIMUM DESTRUCTION from UBISOFT; after this I have deleted the registration icon from the screen.
Monday, 30th October 2006: I have tried to install the game HEAD OVER HEELS from RETROSPEC and, thanking God, spite of a virtual memory problem, the game runs greatly!
Thursday, 16th November 2006: the PC second hard disk icon has disappeared and, to get it back , I have tried to change the WINDOWS XP theme, but the icon has not gone back; so I have tried to deactivate the second hard disk, turn off the pc, restart it and then reactivate the second hard disk, again to get back its icon; unfortunately everything were unsuccessful; I have got the occasion to install the ATARI ANNIVERSARY EDITION from INFOGRAMES, to install the enclosed WINDOWS themes; you can see the PC screen using the ASTEROID theme; I have learned from the MICROSOFT site that my pc second icon was disappeared because in its root directory there was an AUTORUN.INF file!
Tuesday, 28th November 2006: I have downloaded exceptionally from the Blitz3D site (http://www.blitzbasic.com) a game demo (I do not like game demos!) of featherbraining chinese style named Wu Hing; I have tried it but is too complicated for me!

Wednesday, 6th December 2006: I have repositioned the icons with the new entry, the icon of VMN TOOLBOX 4 from VISICOM MEDIA (http://www.visicommedia.com); it is useful but best of all it is a freeware application!
Saturday, 16th December 2006: I have created a new version of my pc game PIASTRELLE wishing to give it a tridimensional print; I have substituted the icon on the screen of the version one of my game with this new version.
Tuesday, 19th December 2006: the wireless keyboard and mouse have left me alone; seen that you are reading this message it means that I have timely solved the problem!
Wednesday, 20th December 2006: the wireless keyboard and mouse seem they work again, so I have reused them; I have installed the games EVIL ISLAND and MOTOCROSS MANIA.
Thursday, 21st December 2006: I am succeeded to install the game CAVALIERI & MERCANTI, the italian version of the game KNIGHTS & MERCANTS; I have reinstalled for pernickety the game MOTOCROSS MANIA!
Tuesday, 2nd January 2007: I have received as a present from the MICROSOFT the INTERNET EXPLORER update to the version seven (7); it is more beauty now, thanks MICROSOFT!
Wednesday, 10th January 2007; I have tried, since a long time I did not do it, to burn a (mini) cd; after a wasted mini cd and many tries failed, I have partially updated the most complete cd writing program at my disposal, that is NERO 6 and finally I have succeeded to write a mini cd; thanks AHEAD!
Wednesday, 17th January 2007: I have downloader from the AHEAD site the second update for my NERO version and it is disappeared the NERO burning suite icon susbstituited by the NERO media player icon.
Saturday, 20th January 2007: browsing on the BLITZ BASIC italian programmers site (http://www.blitzitalia.altervista.org/) I have found an editor for the PC versions that is incredible; is name is IDEal and I must say that the name of this editor is truly as its name; you can see its icon on the screen.
Saturday, 27th January 2007: I have found on the November 2006 issue of COMPUTER MAGAZINE cd a program that creates an executable to distribute your own programs by a guided installation procedure;so I have created the executable to install my pc game PIASTRELLE 3D 3p!
Friday, 2nd February 2007: I have copied PURE BASIC for AMIGA from the pc hard disk to the AMIGA 1200 hard disk; to do it i had to update the WINDOWS data transfert program AMIGA EXPLORER to the latest version from the site http://www.amigaforever.com/, You can see its new icon on the screen.
Thursday, 22nd February 2007: I have installed just to try the demo version of APLETON LIVE 4.0.1 and it liked me so much that I have downloaded from its official site the latest demo version, that is 6.0.3; then I have installed from the issue 76 of QUALE COMPUTER dvd the program DCLEANER that I have used to clean my pc.
Sunday, 25th March 2007: I have installed from an old pc magazine cd I have the WINDOWS version of WORDWORTH, an AMIGA well known word processing program,so now can edit on my pc my few AMIGA documents.
Wednesday, 4th April 2007: my father is gone to PCGRATIS (http://www.pcgratis.it/), a computer shop and he has brought there the PC to increase its menory; on late afternoon he has brought home the PC, after he has payed 45 Euros to the technicians of PCGRATIS to have brought the PC memory from 128 to 384 Megs; now the PC is very very fast, there are no more the slowdowns of before, it does not take twenty minutes to be ready after power on!
Monday, 9th April, Angel Day 2007: I have reorganized the icons on the screen: you can see the system icon on the right; I have installed from the June 2005 issue of COMPUTER MAGAZINE dvd the game MAX PAYNE and the freeware WEB browser AVANT, updated to the latest version from the WEB; from the downloading area I have found a nice game named 3D SCORCH TANK but, after I have downloaded and installed it, I have seen it a bit because is too complicated for me; however the game is similar to the AMIGA game FRONTAL ASSAULT; I have installed a program to replace an icon with any image: I have immediateli changed the icons of my games on the screen, that are no more visible; i have moved into a directory, perhaps I should change its icon too!
Tuesday, first May 2007: I have changed the WINDOWS theme, now is devoted to the twenty or more years old coinop from ATARI that was named CENTIPEDE; I have downloaded from the GIVE AWAY OF THE DAY site and installed the Funny Arts games ANIMAL EMPIRE and GEM ZONE and the ALAWAR games ROBOBALL e MAGIC TEA.
Ho I have tried to install TOMB RAIDER III from CORE DESIGN and finally the game goes again!
I have added on the screen the icon of the WINDOWS e-mail program, that is OUTLOOK EXPRESS.
Friday, 4th May 2007; I have collected the graphics program icons into a folder on the screen, that now retains the icons of CONCEPTDRAW MINDMAP, GIMP2, ULEAD PHOTO EXPRESS 3, WINGS 3D and at last the text editor PAGEFOUR da GIVE AWAY OF THE DAY.
Monday, 7th May 2007; I have successfully installed the 1.20 version of AMIKIT (http:www.amikit.amiga.sk/) to see an emulated AMIGA better than mine, that I have updated up to the 1.33 version; I am unhappy that the preconfigured AMIKIT environment for WinUAE does not supports the italian keymap, for the resto the AMIKIT emulated AMIGA is fabulous!
Saturday, 12 May 2007: I have successfully installed the game SUPREME SNOWBOARDING from INFOGRAMES; the screen is left unchanged.
Thursday, 17 May 2007: I have installed from the cover DVD of the PC magazine IL MIO COMPUTER the program to burn CD and DVD named CD BURNER XP PRO 3 to try to burn some CDs that i did never successfully write spite of they are new; ufortunately this program did fail also!
Saturday, 26th May 2007: I have found on an old cd WINACE and I have installed it; then I have downloaded its latest freeware version from the WEB; I have downloaded from the WEB the latest freeware version of INSTALL CREATOR and I have created with this a new installer for my pc game PUZZLES FOR ANTONELLA.
Sunday, 27th May 2007: I have installed from the MICROSOFT site the package WINDOWS XP CREATIVITY FUN pACKS and now the screen backdrop changes at regular intervals showing some beautyful images, thanks MICROSOFT!
SYSTEM REINSTALLATION WITH ENTIRE DATA LOSS!
Thursday, 31 May 2007: I have made mistakes on the WINDOWS registry and so I had to reinstal all on the PC! However there are two beautiful things: first, I have greatly reorganized the reinstalled programs in WINDOWS XP; second, my mother has gone out to see if there was any (snail) mail and coming back she brought up me the packet I was awaiting, that is the OS 3.9 for the AMIGA 1200 and of its safety mirrored copy on the PC.
Friday, 1st June 2007: Installed the first games group, AGE OF EMPIRES II (bundle with the pc), MIDNIGHT RACING, RUNE, SUPREME SNOWBOARDING, THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD 2, TOMB RIDER III, WARLORDS BATTLECRY, and at end FLOWERS from http://www.gamegiveawayoftheday.com.
Satutday, 2 June 2007: Installed from the VISICOM MEDIA site (http://www.visicommedia.com/) the ACE HTML and ACE FTP freeware versions to etid my site pages by the first program and then to upload them on my site on the Web by the second program.
Sunday, 3rd June 2007: Installed from this month pc magazine IL MIO COMPUTER the office freeware package OPEN OFFICE 2.2.0, GIMP for WINDOWS and the libraries GTK2+ that are needed by GIMP.
Monday, 4th June 2007: Installed the graphics program XNWIEW from the cd of the IL MIO COMPUTER pc magazine of this month, then ACDSEE and QUICKTIME from the installation cd of the PENTAX OPTIO 50L digital camera that I havr purchased few months ago; installed also DEEPBURNER from the cd of IL MIO COMPUTER pc magazine again.
Wednesday, 6th June 2007: the JAVA CONSOLE has updated itself; installed the package VISTA TRANSFORMATION PACK from the last month pc magazine IL MIO COMPUTER cd; installed the latest version of VISTA SIDEBAR from its site.
Tuesday, 12th June 2007: installed and updated MAGIX MUSIC STUDIO 2005 DELUXE and installed MAGIX MEDIA MANAGER 2004 SILVER as bonus.
Friday, 15th June 2007; reactivated the preconfigured AMIGA environment for pcs AMIKIT that has updated itself to the version 1.3.5; installed the MUSICMATCH JUKEBOX evolution, that is YAHOO! MUSIC JUKEBOX together with YAHOO! MESSENGER.
Sunday, 17th June 2007: installed JAVA2 SE RUNTIME ENVIRONMENT 5.0 UPDATE 11; installed the latest version of DIVX that has installed MOZILLA FIREFOX; installed from this month IL MIO COMPUTER magazine the program to play old LUCAS ARTS adventures named SCUMMVM; so I have installed BENEATH A STEEL SKY adventure from the magazine cd always.
